EY Variable pay in notice period
If I resign on June 7th, my last working day will be September 5th, and I will receive my VPB on August 31st. I am concerned that EY might grant me an early release to avoid paying the VPB. Could this happen?
TRST Score asking for Income Tax Portal access for BGV, is this normal?
I recently cleared interviews for an MNC, and before releasing the offer they’ve started background verification through a third-party company called TRST Score. As part of BGV, they are asking for my Income Tax portal login/password to access ITR details. The interview process itself was legitimate, but this specific request is making me uncomfortable since it involves sharing portal credentials. They mentioned it’s required to grant ITR access, but I’m unsure whether this is a standard or safe practice. Has anyone here gone through a similar BGV process where the company or vendor asked for Income Tax portal credentials? How did you handle it?
