That Co-Worker

Oh, that co-worker, ek number ka chalak, Micro-manager banke, udta hai bakbak. Chor ko dhundte, chhod dete apna kaam, Unki efficiency, hai bas ek naam. Chashm-e-baddoor, har kadam pe, Nigahein jaise ho satellite pe. Magar kaam ka jadoo, kahaan gaya bhai? Unki samajh, bas dhoka si hai. Chaturai ke geet, gungunaate phire, Jaise unmein hai gyan ki aag bharke. Par paradoks, kitna pyara sa, Unki koshish, bas mazaak ki dastaan. Office ka raaj, unke haath mein hai, Khauf ka raja, nafrat ka samraaj hai. Oh, woh saathi, kya hi kamaal ka, Unki galatfahmi mein, khoyi hui hai roshni ki misaal. TMKB for all of those Co-workers ! Growth Journal- Spirituality & cosmic connections.

Growing up I was a part of a very spiritually inclined hindu family. My parents, although very supportive in terms of educational, professional and emotional fronts, were very particular about “Sanskars”. Me and my sibling were constantly taught different prayers, were given teachings from various puranas, granthas such as Bhagwad Geeta, all while maintaining both modern and spiritually cultural upbringing for us. My dad always says “Sankat me ye kehna beta, ki jab mahadev mere sath hai, toh darne ki kya baat hai”. I recently was caught in one of the toughest moments of my life, it was a test of my patience. Things were getting out of hand for me, and that’s when I remembered my dad’s sayings, which exactly are the lyrics of the song (link), i was listening to this song on loop for 2 days continuously. While going through this storm of a situation I just said to myself what my dad said to me. Today, I’ve got over that test. I proved myself with my head held high and I’m proud of it. But I know, this is all because somewhere something was done by him, somewhere he let things fall in place. Always grateful. Forever blessed. Har har mahadev!
