Currently in final year at a tier 2 college, I’ve worked hard to learn advanced web development and am now exploring Generative AI. I’ve completed two internships in the software development field in my third year. Now, in my final year, I haven’t received any offers—neither for an internship nor a full-time position. It feels like bad luck and tough times always find their way to me. Still, two weeks ago, I gathered myself, holding onto hope, and traveled 500 km to Gurgaon just for interviews with a company, thinking the high selection rate. But I’ve been on HOLD now. At this point, I’m seriously seeking an internship or job. Even if the stipend is low, I’m desperate for an opportunity—preferably in my field, but I’m open to working in any field. Rust overhyped for web dev
I'm not totally sold on it for web development. Yeah, it's awesome for system level stuff with top performance and safety. But for building web apps, things like Django with Python or Node.js with JavaScript just seem more practical and well-rounded.
Retired from Navy and now in IT?
