Salary check & views
just wanted to check viners view on this - moving from 19 to 22.5 fixed which is just less than 20% hike, asked HM to sweeten the deal he will add 5-6% of fix as JB & some standard variable amount is there on top of fix. YOE - ~3 years current Role - analyst in Analytics & Strat in a product company (pays very well, far above mkt standards i guess) is it fair? i didn't negotiate hard coz i understand market is not rewarding growth at all, so big hikes off the table + badly wanted to move away from my current role, felt like stuck in a rut. Views here?
HM makes me feel cheap
After finishing all the rounds of interviews, I reached out to get the feedback. The reply was "In order to make a decision, we need to interview some more candidates. So it may take some more time". Very well said and nothing wrong here. But let me tell you how I feel. 1. Feeling objectified - I am an option for the company. They want to try more and then make a decision. 2. They certainly think - okay we got this, but we deserve better. Do you think I would really want to join some organisation when they didn't believe in me? Just say you didn't meet our standards. I really don't want to join knowing they hired me because they couldn't find anyone better. Feels disgusting. Makes me feel I am the worst. When did suddenly a respectable Software Engineering job became prostitution?
How to get allocated on a project !!!
Hi I joined cognizant in February 2022, so I am a PA level with 2.8 years of experience. I am on the bench now, whenever I try to apply on TMP iaspier it's always getting rejected. I have also tried to reach out to the hiring manager mentioned on that particular SO still no response. What should I do now? How do I apply or reach out to HM's.?
