Caution ⚠️ | Bangalore is about to fail

I've been living in Bangalore for six years, but today made me seriously question my sanity. This city, with all its quirks, tests your patience every single day. Here is what happened to me last month. I left for work at 8 AM that day thinking I'd beat the rush hour on **Outer Ring Road**. The corporate greed of building skyscrapers without improving the infrastructure has choked this city. By the time I hit the Silk Board signal, traffic was at a complete standstill. Not moving. Not inching. Just... nothing. After two hours, TWO HOURS, of crawling at 1 km/h, I just became very angry I noticed people cutting in through the small gaps. Bikers, autos, cars, trying to get the smallest fucking advantage on the road, everyone out for themselves. And guess what? My friends who had come to visit me from Chandigarh were phoning me that they will come from a cab but the cabbies were on another level, **Surge pricing** was through the roof, with Ola and Uber tripling their rates. Some drivers were even asking for extra cash and said they will cancel otherwise. I saw a guy on a Royal Enfield, revving his engine aggressively as if the sound alone could ease the traffic. But it didn’t help obviously. You see, nobody was willing to follow the rules, or God forbid, cooperate that day. In the end, Bangalore will collapse under the weight of its own unchecked growth. Mark my words.

Should I take a break since my wife career is taking off

My current company has given me a golden handshake for one month since project did not take off. My wife business is doing really well and she wants to open a 2nd place. She said she will manage everything including our monthly expenses and children education etc. She is super confident and at the same time doesn't want me to rush into something that will damage my mental health and has even offered me to help her in some capacity in her business. I actually let go of an offer giving me a 18 percent hike only and also didn't feel comfortable with the role and company. Do you think what I am doing is wise? Is it wise to take sometime off and not rush into anything? Or is the job market very bad and I should have taken any offer.

Practicality dekho dost

I see lot many people cribbing about witch club salaries. What's going to happen? Is India in a state to implement labour laws like nordic countries? Those people crib when they work over 35 hours. We can barely provide jobs to our youngsters. Why do u think indian SBCs get clients? Bcz we are available in bulk , cheap, speaks English and hardworking ( majboori i mean actually). Mana IT main margin high hoti hain, pr seedhi baat hain yrr demand supply ka game hain. Vo purani salary aur ceo fresher pay gap ye baatein capitalism mein nhi chalti dost..ethics vaigera sab naam ka hota hain...dhande main baat bs profit ki aaati hain...usmein kisika bhala ho gaya to behtar...Ab har middle claas bande ko IT golden ticket lag raha hain, kab tak chalega gold rush vaise? Yrr tumhe nhi pasand na to chhodo 1000 log line main khade hain vo bolte hain hume dedo koi baat nhi... itni buri haalt hain jobs ki...ab company fayada nhi uthayegi? client ko sasta talent nhi benchengi? konsa aur humne engineering krna hain, maintenance ka kam hain mostly. Achha kam overseas hi hota hain. Nhi pasand to chhoodo, aur pakdo achha job...koi nhi dene wala tumko minimum wage capitalism main. Vo socialist jamana chala gaya. Frustration nikal na hi to nikalo, lekin likh koi nhi manne wala aapki baat. U will be exploited in this demand supply game. Vaise bhi jitni janta IT main ho gayi hain lagta nhi ki jyada achhe din bache hain, vahi pichle das saal wali baatein dohrane wali hain...min hike... vaigera. Maaf karna offend Kiya to...but point is be practical
