Community based investing is something I believe not really there . SEBI has definitely done it's best to kill copy trading . Was reading the circular and it says a retailer cannot put automated trades based on someone else putting in their trades . Which made me think this can definitely kill the options copy trading market but why cannot we have a equity portfolio copy trading product like : 1. Leaderboard where people are ranked based on their equity portfolio returns , can be done through the get/holdings API of all brokers . 2. I as a user can copy such holdings just like I copy Buffet's portfolio . The reason I want to copy it is because I am sure there are people out there who make more than the traditional 13% given my MFs . Plus MFs do not have the freedom to take positions in all stocks which as a retailer I can do 3. People with good genuine returns can sell courses / can tweet / can earn through selling access to their portfolios / good side hustle for some . Rest of the product will just be like twitter for finance .
4 months gone in Job Search
I am a UIUX designer with 1 year of experience (Including 9 months of internship) graduated in November 2024 and my last company laid me off. I also have some family stuff going on as my father was sick and almost died so these days I am taking care of him. Financially not really good but can manage. Its been a hard decision for me to look for jobs. I tried looking for remote ones but couldn't land any. I am interviewing for onsite jobs as well but didn't it didn't get any luckier. I dont want to leave my career and I don't want to leave my dad dying. Can I as a fresher take a career break? What else can I do? I am thinking of looking for freelance but I am not sure where to find freelance work.
I don't get the hype why people want an iPhone when they can't afford one?
Phone is a necessity. Ok cool, no problem. But expensive phone, oh sorry SUPER EXPENSIVE PHONE??? Not really. If you can't afford one, why do you want to buy one? EMI pe phone lena, does it even make sense? And why do you want to go over your budget and get a phone, on which you are only going to watch reels, and occasionally take some photos? If you have money, no problem. But if you are living on edge, you have bills to pay, you barely save some money, why would you in your right mind get a phone so expensive? Forget the phone, the maintenance itself requires monthly spending. Forget charger, cover, glass, apples very own services apple music, applecare, etc all those things are also going to cost. If you are not going to use those, and instead go for some cheap free to use service, get a normal not so expensive phone. You don't even have an apple ecosystem or are trying to get one in the near future. You are already not using half of the features the iPhone has, then what's the point? I'm tired of my friend's half cooked brain arguing over getting an iphone. No offense bro, but you hardly save a month half of what airpods cost. The market is so volatile. You should focus on savings for your own emergency. I don't see a need for why you need an iphone. Heck, I saw a rickshawala owning a 15pro the other day! Good for him for getting an iphone, but then how are you managing finances? Am I missing God's daily drop of money or are people really this dumb?
