Hiring process at KPMG (KGS)
KPMG people called me and forced me to come to Bangalore just for a F2F interview for ServiceNow role saying the team is available only at Bangalore location, they don't entertain Virtual interview. You cant give interview from other offices as well. I literally spent around 10k to travel from Pune to Bangalore for interview, after reaching the location I realized this is Walk in drive for ServiceNow roles. Where majority people they called are Freshers. And everyone were jumping on freshers only. Just to register my name, I was waiting from 11 am till 3 pm. And then for interview, I was given a seat at a open space. It was a coffe table type chair and a laptop infront me with interviewer was on Teams call to take my interview. Security and housekeeping staff was doing some repair work just beside me in loud noise and I was giving Virtual interview. Literally blaming myself that Why I came here spedning huge amounts just for Virtual interview where HR people don't even care me. The interviewer after giving Intro, sending him resume still asking "You did Internship in ServiceNow?" Dude, I spent 4 years as full time employee in ServiceNow same is mentioned on Resume. It was worst interview process I faced.
Why are there so many Nepalese in Bengaluru?
Noticed them in housekeeping, hospitality, plumbing, electrician roles, even in startups. Nepali families as caretakers in posh houses or Airbnb. At a co-working office in HSR, I hear them discussing getting Aadhar cards and settling permanently. Not discriminating or being racist, just curious about the trend.
