Yubi Chief Data officer also Fed up

She is one of the best leaders at Yubi who looks after her department's members and doesn't backstab others or brown nose the CEO. Also is one of the very very few people in Yubi's senior mgmt who actually know what they are doing. The ongoing culture depreciation at Yubi was not unwarranted. Most of the good leaders got fed up with the CEO and his yes men decision making process and left. The culture created by them can be read about on Ambitionbox and glassdoor.

Should I transition my career to a new technology after 5 years of IT experience, or continue in my current stack?

I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science in 2020. My career journey so far looks like this: • Early 2020: Worked as an ML Engineer Intern until June 2020 • Mid 2020 – April 2022: Worked at a startup on React, with low pay (₹10k/month) • Aug 2022 – May 2024: Joined Accenture as a fresher, worked on Java (basic level) and Angular • Dec 2024 onwards: Shifted to AWS support work (log tracing, file name changes, basic operational tasks) • Jan 2025 – Jan 2026: Currently in a pure support project with limited development exposure Now, in January 2026, I’m getting an opportunity to move into Workday. My confusion is: • Is it worth transitioning to Workday after ~5 years of IT experience? • Or should I continue and deepen my skills in Java / Angular / AWS, even though my recent experience has been mostly support-based? • If I choose Workday, how will my last 5 years of mixed experience be viewed by recruiters and future employers? • Will this transition reset my career growth, or can it actually help me build a stronger, more focused profile? I want to make a decision that makes sense long-term, in terms of: • Career growth • Job stability • Salary progression • Market demand
