Principal Data Scientist – Agentic AI & Decision Systems

Recrew AI is building a foundational AI agent platform for India's SMB economy across commerce, payments, and logistics. The Principal Data Scientist will own end-to-end design of production-grade decision systems, including pricing, routing, and resource allocation. Candidates must have extensive experience deploying large-scale ML systems using Python, PySpark, and AWS. This is a high-ownership 0→1 role requiring strong background in optimization and experimentation.

• 8–15 years of hands-on Data Science or Applied ML experience
• 3 years in a principal or staff-level individual contributor role
• Track record of building and shipping production-grade ML systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark
• Deploying and serving ML models using TorchServe or TensorFlow Serving on AWS
• Experience with optimization techniques applied to real-world problems
• Hands-on experience with experimentation design and causal inference methods

Nice to have: llm, reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandit, mlflow, kubeflow.
