Workplace harrassment

A friend of mine works in NEC Software Solutions and since she joined, she has observed the toxic work culture and bossiness that exists there. I feel really bad for her, she can't change due to her personal obligations. The entire work culture is at the mercy of the senior employees who have been working here for 7, 10 and even 15 years. They decide everything like who sits where. They decide how you solve your coding problems. They keep a check on how many minutes and times you go to the washroom or take breaks. They also name and shame you in case you have to go home due to health issues or any family emergency. The scrum master yells at you, the senior guy in the team does the same. It's like a family they have made there. Sitting and judging everyone because the boss listens to them. These same seniors even try to get personal with female employees. With their mutual understanding with the boss and given their long tenure in the company, they have taken favours like WFH for their wives but if you ask for the same, you are a criminal The canteen or food facilities are pathetic, tea is just warm sweet water. Even for this tea, if you go outside and pay and drink it, the seniors will note and taunt you. The same feedback is given to the top management and the management doesn't understand that the seniors are exploiting everyone. They don't provide tissues in the washroom, those were removed to contain costs. Ohh god. In short, the environment is very toxic and typical of an Indian, service-based, mass recruiter. Any person coming from outside is gonna be in hell because of these toxic senior employees. It'll be a boon if these aholes are sacked. Do not get fooled thinking NEC is a Japanese company. These idiots have made everything toxic and Indian here. You won't be able to stay for long because of these m*erf****ers. I don't think there's any way to help her because the HR even is gonna be siding with the employees that have formed their cult over there.
