TAL's take

Quality 60/1004/5 clarityTier 2 company1 watchout

High-experience role in a stable global firm, though onsite-heavy with rotational shift requirements lowers the score.

Clearly defined responsibilities for infrastructure management, though the title range (Senior/Junior) in the JD creates slight ambiguity.

Watchouts

  • rotational and flexible shift including Sat/Sun work

[Thread] What is your favourite “bruh” moment from a PM?

Here’s mine: In an old job the Product Manager tells us, “Metrics look off to the customer. Do something.” We ask, “which metric looks off to them?” Goes on to say that he will get back to us on this. 😂 Bruh.

Evangelion (underrated anime)

This anime started as a mecha anime and ended with what just happened. People create all these points to justify the story and its meaning. But for me, Evangelion tells about the inner demon of a people's heart. I was able to relate to Shinji where I know that I am not a good person and there are many broken things in my heart that I cannot fix and live my life as I can. There is an inner darkness in my heart which I just control myself. But I found people where I can show and tell all of my issues and accept me who I am. So yeah, even though I can't fix everything I can live happily and peacefully

Life Beyond Work101

Am I being groomed for leadership or just being overworked to death? 💀

So, here's my story. I landed this creative job, super excited because it came with some nice perks. Few months in, my manager tells me he plans to promote me to a broader marketing role within a year. I thought, "Wah, great opportunity!" Now, instead of just doing creative stuff, I’m spending most of my time coordinating projects, managing contractors, cleaning up my manager's files, and handling admin tasks. It's like I'm becoming his executive assistant, not what I signed up for, man. On the plus side, I'm given some project management responsibilities and leading certain projects. I’m cc’d on almost every email my manager sends, which makes me feel trusted and valued. But it also means I'm juggling everything! The pay is decent, so no complaints there. But I can’t shake the feeling that this "promotion" might just be a carrot to keep me grinding. I’m exhausted and close to burnout, yaar. I need clarity. Am I being prepped for something big or just being taken advantage of?
