if you're in your mid-late 20s like me & contemplating marriage.if i had to summarize on a high level: - marriage isn’t the point. partner quality is. the institution just magnifies whatever choice you make. - it’s a deliberate trade of short-term optionality for long-term stability, peace, and shared meaning. - timing matters. early choice favors compatibility (in 20s). delay increases baggage, cynicism, and forced fits - marriage offers no guarantees: not love, not care, not permanence. it’s truly a wager, not insurance i think the strongest pro-marriage arguments cluster around shared life full of companionship, memory and children. the anti-marriage sentiment comes from watching bad examples, h0e rehabilitation programs & biased legal system. my takeaway is that you need to play the game to have any chance of winning. if so, even if the game is rigged. my mind is, however, not changed on marriage. i still find it a bad overall deal, especially as a man. there is no guarantee that the woman you marry isn't mentally married to some other man, the children you have will not end up with an arts degree, or that the milords won’t punish you for a bad bet. such asymmetric risk with such symmetric outcomes. (still just as confused)

What do you think about people like these? 💀

Sometimes I think we all have that friend who doesn't see what others see in them. They'll be there saying "oh, I'm just average" while everyone else is like "??? are we looking at the same person??" Had a moment like this recently. My friend was stressing about a presentation, saying she wasn't "professional enough," meanwhile she's literally the most put-together person I know. Funny how we can be our own worst critics. Maybe that's just part of being human - we're so used to seeing ourselves in the mirror every day that we become blind to what others notice instantly. Our flaws become magnified while our best features fade into background noise. But here's a thought: if you ever catch yourself saying "I'm not even that..." - pause. Because chances are, you're probably way more than you give yourself credit for. Sometimes the most attractive thing isn't even about looks - it's about being genuinely yourself and not even realizing the impact you have on others. What's your experience with this? Ever had a moment where you realized your self-perception was way off from how others saw you?

Pushed Out, Not Failing — My Truth

After years of dedicated work in my project, I was suddenly rolled off — not for lack of performance, but due to internal politics, micromanagement, and silent sidelining. Small mistakes were magnified, but consistent contributions were ignored. Less experienced individuals were given priority while I was restricted to minor tasks. Despite delivering every responsibility, I received no appreciation. I raised concerns, but instead of support, I was met with silence. The prolonged stress took a toll — I’ve now been diagnosed with diabetes, a direct outcome of this toxic environment. I was never given a fair chance, only judged behind closed doors. This blog is not to complain, but to speak out — for myself and others facing the same. Because sometimes, it’s not performance that fails — it’s leadership.
