Role Overview
As the Backend Engineering Leader , you will be pivotal in building and scaling the platform by leading the backend engineering team. You will own critical technical decisions, drive the development of internal systems, and ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, DevOps, and CI/CD.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and manage the backend engineering team while implementing project management best practices.
- Make critical tech stack decisions, including the refactoring of existing technologies.
- Lead the development of internal systems, including the core matching and optimization algorithm that connects the two sides of the business.
- Define and maintain best practices for code quality, DevOps, and CI/CD.
What We Look For
Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- Proven experience in managing engineering teams, making technical decisions, and interfacing with product teams.
- Previous startup experience is a big plus.
- High integrity, strong team player, and a can-do attitude.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: 7+ years in software development.
- Bonus Points: Demonstrated leadership in startup environments and a passion for building scalable platforms.
