What is Leap Scholar?
Leap Scholar is South Asia’s largest end to end study abroad platform, offering a comprehensive suite of services including test prep, admissions counseling, and visa support. Part of the larger Leap ecosystem which includes Leap Finance and Yocket, it has built a community of over 2 million students aspiring for global careers. The platform is increasingly AI first, helping students navigate complex application cycles and financial planning with automated, personalized tools.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Experience in end-to-end product development with a founder mindset, preferably in early-stage or stealth startups.
- Technical versatility with deep expertise in Backend (Node.js, Python, or Go) and/or Frontend (React/Next.js), including a strong grasp of system design, databases (Postgres/Redis), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity by turning vague business goals into robust technical architectures.
- Excellent communication skills that enable engaging with both technical teams and customers or sales leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire lifecycle of a product area, from initial customer discovery and whiteboarding to deployment and post-launch iteration.
- Build robust, scalable backends and seamless frontends while being comfortable jumping into any part of the codebase to unblock features or fix critical bugs.
- Focus on problem solving by understanding both the why and the how, pushing back on requirements that do not move the needle for the customer.
- Leverage AI agents, Copilots, and automated testing to accelerate development cycles, using rapid iteration to ship daily and drive outcomes such as customer success, revenue, and retention.
