What is Bukuwarung?
Bukuwarung is an all-in-one financial app that helps Indonesian MSMEs digitize their bookkeeping and payments. The platform enables small business owners to track sales, manage credit, and accept digital payments seamlessly.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Developer Experience & Platform Thinking – Proven ability to improve developer workflows end-to-end with a strong grasp of CI/CD, testing strategy, release engineering, and observability.
- AI in Engineering Expertise – Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and agentic workflows, with a keen ability to separate meaningful impact from superficial integrations.
- Systems Thinking & Engineering Fundamentals – Solid background in backend/platform engineering, system design, cloud-native systems, infrastructure-as-code, and secure engineering practices.
- Ownership & Influence – Strong communication and mentorship skills, with a track record of driving change across teams and reducing cognitive load through process standardization.
- Experience integrating AI-powered workflows with proper guardrails, evaluation, and observability to ensure pragmatic AI adoption in development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internal tooling, golden paths, and self-serve platforms to streamline developer workflows from local setup through CI/CD, deployment, and feedback loops.
- Integrate modern AI tools into the software development lifecycle, identifying high-leverage use cases including code assist, testing, debugging, documentation, and incident analysis.
- Enhance system design and platform engineering ensuring scalability, reliability, and security by connecting developer ergonomics with architecture.
- Collaborate horizontally with multiple teams, driving change and standardizing processes without impeding speed.
- Mentor engineers, prototype innovative solutions, and act as a force multiplier to influence architecture, tooling, and workflow improvements across squads.
