What is ramAIn?
ramAIn is a local first AI platform that provides autonomous UI process automation for enterprises, enabling agents to read, write, and execute tasks across any application. Built with a privacy centric architecture, all data capture, screen reading, and AI inference happen locally on the device by default. If a human can click it, ramAIn can automate it: the platform interacts with web portals, legacy systems, and desktop apps without needing native APIs.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Proficiency in Python (FastAPI or Django), Node.js/TypeScript, and React/Next.js with strong command of full-stack development.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or Mathematics from IIT (Delhi, Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Roorkee, Madras), IIIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, or a top NIT.
- Deep understanding of Postgres, Redis, and queueing systems (SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or equivalent) including schema design, indexing, and query tuning.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling such as Datadog, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Strong fundamentals in Linux, engineering taste, and the ability to operate across the stack from frontend tickets to SQL query plans to flaky CI jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services in Python (FastAPI/Django) and Node.js/TypeScript that power agent orchestration, task queues, and customer-facing APIs.
- Ship full-stack features end-to-end from Postgres schema to React/Next.js UI for internal tooling and customer dashboards.
- Own cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP including container orchestration, CI/CD, observability, cost, and reliability.
- Build the data plane with Postgres, Redis, job queues, and event streams to support agents running at scale.
- Set engineering standards for the India team across testing, code review, deployment, and on-call as it grows from 1 to 10 engineers.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the SF team on cross-timezone problems and ship production code the same day it's written.
- Debug and resolve production issues across the stack, from Kubernetes networking to queueing layers routing thousands of agent tasks per second.
- Contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and development processes.
