You'll be a good fit if you have

  • Required Experience: 10 - 15+ years in Data Science/ML, with at least 4 - 5 years of experience leading high-performing, senior teams.
  • Extensive expertise in machine learning, with deep knowledge of Learning to Rank (LTR) and NLP/LLMs.
  • Proven track record of deploying production-grade ML systems that have significantly impacted business KPIs.
  • Mastery of A/B testing, causal inference, and multi-armed bandit frameworks.
  • Proficiency with distributed computing, vector databases, and modern ML infrastructure.
  • Exceptional judgment in choosing between complex models and simple heuristics, combined with a strong commitment to ethics and fairness.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, capable of translating complex data science concepts into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic data science leadership by building and guiding a world-class team, and setting the roadmap for Trust & Safety, Ranking, GenAI, and revenue optimization.
  • Architect advanced fraud and misuse detection systems using graph-based machine learning and anomaly detection techniques to ensure platform integrity.
  • Develop multi-objective ranking and matching algorithms that balance diversity, two-way compatibility, and long-term user satisfaction.
  • Build deep behavioral and compatibility models using advanced Learning to Rank (LTR) and embedding techniques to uncover latent user intents.
  • Lead the integration and deployment of generative AI solutions, including LLMs and conversational agents, ensuring safe and cost-effective implementations.
  • Drive revenue and lifecycle optimization through personalized pricing models, promotion affinity scoring, and lifetime value prediction.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to establish robust MLOps practices, ensuring model governance, cost discipline, and streamlined experimentation frameworks.
