What is Zoop?
Zoop is India’s first interactive video bazaar, bridging the gap between discovery and delight through live commerce. The platform turns smartphones into interactive storefronts, allowing sellers to livestream and engage directly with consumers.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Strong proficiency in React Native with a focus on real-time UI/UX.
- At least 3–5 years of experience building and shipping production-grade systems to real users, particularly in early-stage, high-velocity environments.
- Solid Node.js expertise for developing resilient, scalable microservices.
- Hands-on experience with streaming protocols such as WebRTC, HLS, or RTMP.
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobile-First Commerce Engineering: Develop high-performance React Native applications featuring real-time video, interactive chat, and one-tap purchasing flows.
- Multi-Platform Broadcast Infrastructure: Build and optimize systems that allow sellers to multicast live streams to Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram simultaneously from a single device with zero lag.
- Low-Latency Streaming Optimization: Fine-tune WebRTC, HLS, and RTMP protocols to ensure high-quality streaming even in bandwidth-constrained environments.
- Interactive Commerce Features: Design and implement real-time features such as in-stream product showcasing, live auctions, "Quick Add" ordering, and synchronized inventory management.
- Scalable Backend & AI Integration: Architect Node.js services for payments, invoicing, and analytics, while developing APIs and pipelines that power agentic AI systems.
