What is Sarvam AI?
Sarvam is building a 'sovereign' full-stack AI for India, featuring 'Sarvam-1' (2B parameter Indic model) and 'Sarvam Edge' for on-device, offline processing. Their suite includes Bulbul (voice), Sarvam Vision (document intelligence), and Akshar, a workbench for high-precision knowledge extraction.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of modern data stack components like Kafka, ClickHouse, and Kubernetes, with the capability to audit these systems independently.
- Experience in leading Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives in high-growth, high-complexity environments.
- Communication Mastery: Proven ability to transform dense regulatory jargon into clear, actionable business decisions.
- Strategic Vision: Strong aptitude for developing and driving comprehensive compliance strategies that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap: Lead the certification process for SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and emerging AI-specific regulations.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as the primary bridge between Legal, Engineering, and external Auditors, ensuring compliance initiatives empower rather than hinder our development velocity.
- Risk Management: Develop and maintain a dynamic risk register addressing LLM-specific threats, data privacy challenges (e.g., GDPR/DPDP), and supply chain risks.
- Vendor & Customer Trust: Lead technical security reviews for enterprise partners and uphold our "Trust Center" as the industry gold standard.
