You'll be a good fit if you have
- Demonstrated expertise in building distributed systems and agentic orchestration frameworks for complex, self-reasoning AI applications.
- Proven ability to debug non-deterministic systems, including diagnosing and mitigating common issues such as model hallucinations.
- Experience in optimizing token-to-second (TPS) rates and managing Time to First Token (TTFT) to deliver real-time user experiences.
- Strong system design skills, particularly in architecting scalable, distributed systems that efficiently handle large-scale vector embeddings.
Key Responsibilities
- Build autonomous and semi-autonomous agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI to execute multi-step reasoning tasks.
- Implement persistent memory, state management, and stateful interactions in large language model (LLM) applications for handling long-running conversations and intricate task trees.
- Architect interfaces between LLMs and external APIs, SQL databases, and local code interpreters to enhance tool-use and function calling.
- Develop advanced retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques including parent-document retrieval, recursive character splitting, and re-ranking, while managing vector operations using databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, or Qdrant.
- Customize and fine-tune open-source models using techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, and Adapter Tuning, and deploy these models with optimized quantization formats (GGUF, AWQ, or EXL2) suited for local or edge-device inference.
- Deploy and scale models with high-throughput inference servers (vLLM, TGI, or NVIDIA Triton) while instrumenting pipelines using tools like LangSmith, Weights & Biases, or MLflow for comprehensive observability.
