What is Sarvam AI?
Sarvam is building a 'sovereign' full-stack AI for India, featuring 'Sarvam-1' (2B parameter Indic model) and 'Sarvam Edge' for on-device, offline processing. Their suite includes Bulbul (voice), Sarvam Vision (document intelligence), and Akshar, a workbench for high-precision knowledge extraction.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Deep expertise in building runtimes, storage engines, distributed execution engines, or compilers.
- Experience building execution primitives such as schedulers, telemetry pipelines, and durable execution sandboxes.
- Proven ability to architect large-scale systems like a context mono repo for memory and state management.
- Hands-on experience developing high-performance runtimes in Rust, Go, or C++ that can persist and replay workloads deterministically.
- Strong background in high-concurrency systems, efficient scheduling, and orchestration at scale with robust observability.
- Preference for solving infrastructure challenges at the kernel/runtime level over application-level coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Architect large-scale distributed systems, including runtimes, storage engines, and execution frameworks.
- Build Core Primitives such as schedulers, telemetry pipelines, durable execution sandboxes, and memory/state management systems.
- Develop High-Performance Runtimes in Rust, Go, or C++ with deterministic workload persistence and replay capabilities.
- Optimize Concurrency and Scheduling to achieve reliable orchestration and high throughput at scale.
- Advance Declarative and Composable Primitives for execution, scheduling, and context management.
- Collaborate Across Teams to deliver core infrastructure that powers distributed agents and next-generation systems.
- Push Technical Boundaries by experimenting with compilers, infrastructure primitives, and kernel/runtime-level solutions.
