What is Sarvam AI?
Sarvam is building a 'sovereign' full-stack AI for India, featuring 'Sarvam-1' (2B parameter Indic model) and 'Sarvam Edge' for on-device, offline processing. Their suite includes Bulbul (voice), Sarvam Vision (document intelligence), and Akshar, a workbench for high-precision knowledge extraction.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Strong backend proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript) or Python.
- Deep interest in Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar interoperability standards.
- Proven experience working with REST/SOAP APIs and navigating complex authentication schemes.
- A "hacker" mindset with a preference for shipping a working version today over a perfect version next month.
- High energy, rapid learning abilities, and an unyielding bias for action in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Rapid Prototyping: Build, test, and ship MCP servers using TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- API Wrangling: Navigate complex OAuth flows, webhooks, and rate-limiting mechanisms across enterprise and government platforms.
- Context Optimization: Design data retrieval and presentation mechanisms that ensure information remains relevant, concise, and actionable for large language models.
- Security & Privacy: Ensure all integrations adhere to strict data handling and "least-privilege" access standards.
- Integration Development: Build connectors for Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets), Zoho (CRM, Books, Inventory management), and government APIs, as well as design universal MCP servers for various LLM orchestrators (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
