What is Zoop?

Zoop is India’s first interactive video bazaar, bridging the gap between discovery and delight through live commerce. The platform turns smartphones into interactive storefronts, allowing sellers to livestream and engage directly with consumers.

You'll be a good fit if you have

  • Proven People/HR experience (2–4 years) in a high-growth Indian startup.
  • Versatility in hiring both deep-tech (Engineering/Product) and high-execution (Ops/Growth) roles.
  • A builder mindset with the drive to create systems from a blank slate.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling internal and external narratives.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with HR tools like Lever, Greenhouse, or Recruiterflow and a deep understanding of startup compensation benchmarking and ESOP vesting structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle hiring process for Engineering, Product, Design, and Ops—from sourcing and screening to closing.
  • Collaborate with founders to design task-based assessments that move beyond traditional resumes and predict real-world success.
  • Develop a multi-channel sourcing strategy (LinkedIn, Referrals, Campus) and optimize time-to-hire by tracking conversion rates.
  • Craft a compelling employer brand narrative that positions Zoop as a top-tier destination for talent in the Delhi-NCR region.
  • Design structured onboarding playbooks to ensure new hires have clear context, the right tools, and a roadmap for success in their first 30 days.
  • Administer ESOPs by educating the team on the value of equity and managing related frameworks.
  • Select and implement the company’s first Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS, building scalable infrastructure.
  • Partner with founders on team structures, feedback loops, offsites, and overall organizational design to maintain a high-intensity, inclusive culture.
