What is Chronicle?
Chronicle is a modern presentation platform that uses 'pre-designed blocks' to automate professional information design. The tool allows teams to transform raw notes or documents into interactive, client-ready decks in under 15 minutes.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Exceptional long-form writing ability with experience producing high-quality content akin to industry-leading newsletters (think Lenny's Newsletter or Reforge).
- Proven track record of growing a newsletter, blog, or content channel from the ground up.
- Strong, opinionated editorial voice with the ability to educate and engage a sophisticated audience.
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS, startup fundraising, and go-to-market strategies.
- Familiarity with developing and critiquing pitch decks, as well as the ability to analyze investor and sales narratives.
- Expertise in slicing long-form content into viral social media hooks and a solid grasp of Substack growth mechanics, including notes, recommendations, SEO, and referral loops.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft exceptional long-form pieces (2,500–3,500 words) with a strong, opinionated editorial voice and clear arguments.
- Develop definitive frameworks that teach our audience how to think about and tackle their problems.
- Build and grow Chronicle’s Substack newsletter, transforming it into a content engine that drives warm leads and product trials.
- Systematically slice each long-form post into 3–5 compelling social media hooks (LinkedIn/X) to fuel a flywheel of audience growth.
- Critique and develop narratives around pitch decks, investor storytelling, and sales strategies to resonate with a technical and product-savvy audience.
