Akhil Joy recently posted that he has left Zepto. I also noticed that a few other designers from Zepto have left as well. What could be the reason? Did the founders fire him, or did he leave because he sensed something was going wrong?

Zepto is full of dark patterns and terrible UX. I feel bad for design leaders in that company; they have to fight hard to make the app usable for end users. People talk shit about Zepto design and UX on LinkedIn. Am sure that takes a toll on morale.
