Zensar (₹29 LPA, bench risk?) vs Odessa (₹25 LPA, product) – Need practical advice

Looking for some honest guidance from experienced folks. I joined Zensar in the last week of January at ₹29 LPA for an Azure/DevOps role. Initially, I was allocated to an MMC project for about 15 days. After that, I briefly moved to bench, and now the same allocation is extended till month end — but still no client onboarding, no credentials, and no client interview confirmation. Manager says my profile has been shared with the client and we’re waiting for an update. HR mentioned there are other Azure DevOps openings internally if MMC doesn’t materialize. However, a few colleagues warned that repeated short allocations and delayed onboarding could indicate uncertainty, especially at higher CTC levels. On the other side, I have an opportunity with Odessa (product-based): • Around ₹25 LPA + joining bonus discussion • 5 days work from office (Bengaluru) • Rotational shifts • No bench concept (as per HR) • Product ownership and potentially heavier workload Now I’m confused between: Staying at Zensar (₹29 LPA, hybrid/WFH flexibility, but client onboarding uncertainty) Moving to Odessa (₹25 LPA, product-based, more pressure, 5 days WFO, but possibly stable work) Key concerns: • How risky is Zensar bench in reality? • Is short allocation extension normal in service companies? • Is product exposure worth a pay cut and 5 days WFO? • What would you prioritize at this stage — salary, stability, WLB, or product experience? Would appreciate practical insights from those who’ve faced similar situations. Thanks in advance.
