Your thought over Teams

One of my friends in the client project told me that If any person in the internal project calls to a person in a client project over teams/ or shares screen over teams clients get to know all that. They track it all. Is it even true? Where is the logic? What if an IS team person calls the person working in the client project? Now how is it not illegal? Where is all this coming from?
