You should take risks

Dear LinkedIn family,

Yesterday LinkedIn helped save someone’s life. As you know my name is DrProduct so I’m obviously a doctor.

Yesterday I was operating on a patient and I had two choices. The less risky one - and a more risky one. I had never tried the risky option before.

But then in the middle of the op I remembered a post from LinkedIn about taking risks and trying new things in the career. So I took the risky option.

The patient survived the surgery and is smiling today.

Sorry if this is the wrong board to post in, I'm desperate. Should I be honest about my past struggles of depression/addiction with recruiters while explaining the 4 year gap in my resume?
