You should get done with your education ASAP and get into job
I have heard many times that we should get done with education ASAP and get into work like finish MBA , MS. etc ... soon without delaying and get into job. Why is it like this

More years of experience = More pay (usually)
Also, salaries don't keep up with inflation anymore

Unlike other professional education degrees, tech/non tech educational degrees have a shelf life of 1 year. Beyond that it has no value.
Secondly, experience gained is mostly meaningless beyond the same/similar role.
Any gaps in the resume cannot be filled with "consulting" experience. With tech/projects changing rapidly time lost is very costly.
With education /degree lossing value with time, there are 1000 of people coming out every year, some willing to work for rescued salary.
I can keep going, but am sure you get the point.

Which professional degrees have long shelf life?
experience gained is mostly meaningless beyond the same/similar role
But one's value is determined by the years of experience right , a CMO has spent more than 25+ years in marketing, similarly a architect with 15+ years in software
With tech/projects changing rapidly time lost is very costly.
Does it mean a person learns more by working instead of college education ? Can you elaborate
