Trending @Infosys; Yearly rating and appraisals

Anyone have any idea if promotion and top rating/outstanding for appraisal cannot be done in same quarter?

Rating makes a big difference in promotional hike.In stg ME gets 35% CD gets 50% and OS gets 65% from L1 to L2.

Not for majority of infoScion’s !!! Specialist programmers is the cream . That world is different

Well some ME gets 70%+ as well.

There is no such rule. But from a managers perspective he can’t give all gifts he has to you. He has limited incentives to distribute some he will give better rating, some promotion , some on-site. You have to be that brilliant and your peers that bad for you to corner all goodies !!! Second since it won’t impact your promotion chances now he can give you a Lower rating. Anyway rating don’t make a big difference financial
