Manager told me, I have nominated you for 4 rating but when it went to HR it got reduced, is that true? What to say to manager now.
System will do the rating but Your line manager can change it with a justification. Manager is last person to take the rating decision.
Yes HR can reduce the ratings as the courses they mentioned in cognizant to complete within the time limit and no complaints under your name like so and so details are there

It's not HRs who changes the ratings but the SM and above for the account
Yes my HM also told the same. She had given me 5 rating but it went to HR and got normalised to 4.
See that's true...but I don't think hr can modify....it's basically on upper management
