yeah this happened too..

So this candidate.. opened up to me .. "I spent 3 weeks interviewing. 5 rounds. Weekend assignment. Emotional whiplash. Even pretended bonding with the recruiter over memes. I thought I nailed it." Then came the email "We're on a hiring freeze" I cried. Ate ice cream. Unfollowed the company page. 3 weeks later… Same company. Same roles. New job post.

Only difference? 30% lower salary.
