Trending @Cognizant; YEA25 Rating in notice period
Hi Folks,
I put paper on December 4, and i got a very low rating 2 for yea 25. Is it normal if someone put paper and they provide you a lowest rating. Because I was the top performer in both H1 and H2 and except the learning goals(67% completed) i have completed all the things. I don't know why they given me a underperforming lowest rating. And even in my notice period i don't lowered my level of work and i never said i don't take the task or responsibility. This makes me very feel I'm numb.
This is common for any Resource who have resigned as this will not impact your rehire in future unless you get a 1 rating. This is done to ensure that other resources who are in Cognizant and not resigned should get an upper edge than the people who resigned as his rating will affect his hike and bonus etc. but for the person who resigned doesn't need to worry about hikes or bonus.
Yeah it will happen. If it's discussed with me then I am fine with that. But they didn't had an discussion with me and the home manager comments looks very good and then the rating is 2 means how should i take that. It looks not good right.
That's the decision of the Panel committee which even your home manager doesn't have control. Even if he gives 4 or 5 rating also Panel committee will downgrade to 2 or 3
Usually they dump lower ratings to notice period folks .. and anyways it won't affect you or your future prospects.
Well anyway lot of politics is happening while giving ratings . Deserving ones getting 2-3 , some bootlickwrs getting 4 .. I personally had to work smart and against my teammates to highlight myself and reach to 4 rating . Bt that's not fair at all
I also got 2 rating, I did not get any feedback for 2 rating. I think we should except this, no hike, no promotion, no appreciation, micro management
For they given a very good feedback. But the rating is 2. Yes we shouldn't expect. Higher level people will get all the benefits of us.

I got 2 as well as Im serving my notice period last year without even working I got 4 this year I got 2 since I resigned, as you said I try to ask my Home manager and pinged him because comments are good and I worked more this year. Thing is he released my rating on his last day and left, yeah he left the company before me I pinged him in evening as he works in shift I thought he will reply tomorrow then I came and saw his status it showing unknown. Then I realised Im never going to get reason for 2 rating😅
