Hi Folks. Please enlighten me on PurpleTalk or xCube Labs, Hyderabad. Initially, they just asked my ECTC to which I said 27 LPA. But now, after 3 rounds and getting selected, they are offering me 22 LPA, the same CTC, which I was earning, only in hand will increase bcoz of their salary structure. Feeling bad but the kind of products and projects they do seem promising. I've another offer of 25 LPA remote job, which I informed them but still this. Proj. Mang. role, 8Y Exp. &Career gap

They are short changing you. Stick to your expected CTC if you think the interviews went well. If you have a relevant 5+ years experience for the role that you have interviewed for, then 27 LPA is a fair ask.
Thanks for the reply. It is for a Project Manager role and I've 3-4 years of IT Project Manager exp. Total work ex is 8 years completely in Project Management and I hold a Project Management Certification plus in house PMP certification also, not the external one. Do you have any idea about the company? See, you can't compare it with Goldman Sachs. What may look like a fair ask to you might be a higher side for some of these companies. Looking for a more specific suggestion.
I answered from an IT project management industry pay perspective, not at all comparing it with GS. With 8 years of project management experience, 27 is a fair ask. If you are switching for better pay, then you should consider overall increment over your current pay. Should not go below 25.

Yes. I did the same. Asked for Joining Bonus. They'll not be providing Relocation expenses neither reimburse flight ticket costs.
