Because last I checked 781 is 25% of 3125, and not of 2344 - So effective E Tax is 33% and GST is on top of that so, effective GST is 37.4%
People have no right to complain about this. No gvmt has forced them to buy tickets and watch IPL.

Lets say, From 1st April 2025, 99% of income above 20 lakhs gets taxed.
Do people have a right to complain about it? - No, because you can choose to leave the country.
