Trending @HCL; Wrong commitment

I got offer with hike of 50% but my PM stopped me to switch and said we're giving you commitment we'll give you 20% hike plus onsite.

Soon I got email for the same where my PM Cc all the person who will give approval for travel. As soon my visa comes in my hand they're keep saying in next 3 months will send you and now almost 1 year we're passed all people who gave commitment over email stopped replying me now.

It's stopped my growth.

Document the commitment emails and following trail. Schedule a meeting with your Manager, if response is not satisfactory then escalate to HR.
If nothing happens after that then it’s to move to a different organisation. Get a good offer and don’t need to give kt for the organisation which doesn’t honour the commitment made. Lash them on public domains like LinkedIn for making false commitment.

It is typically a Shrewd Manager's trap. I would suggest not to fall for it ever. Switch and make more money. Your manager, later may (most probably will) come with a reason for not being able to send you to onsite. It is just a trap to keep the employee from leaving.
