Worth upgrading to the iPhone 16 Pro or 17?

I’m currently using an iPhone X, and the battery has been terrible with very poor performance. I’ll be travelling to the USA next month, so I’m planning to buy a new phone during Black Friday. Since I’ll be using this new phone for as long as my current one has lasted, which do you think would be better? I might take photos occasionally, but I’m not into photography. I mainly use it for Reddit, YouTube, and social media.

Given my TC do you think it’s worth spending a lot on a new phone, or should I just go with the base iPhone 15 or something similar?
