Trending @Infosys; Worth Infosys???

Is it worth working so hard for a client and receiving only a 6.5% hike from your company in three years and this year there isn’t a news yet. I know it isn’t. I’m trying to connect with others who are facing the same situation in one of the largest so-called IT service companies.

It’s not your fault, it’s the outsourcing model that is failing for service companies, with attached revenue growth , Profit margin gradually falling from 30% to 23% in last 10 years employee costs at 55% being a constant for last 10 years, where is the money to give hikes.

What they charge clients is going up, the dollar has gone up they can easily pass some to the hard working employees at least to tackle inflation not a big ask, when the other new age companies are burning money they can easily do it

I work in a big account and i have not seen any rate change in last 5 years. In fact new vendors are competing with us on lower rates so we are not getting a chance to increase. If that was the case profit margins won’t be dropping. Yes question is why dollar gains are but being passed on , cause that goes to shareholders, employee costs can’t be based on a variable like fx rate. Also lot of those dollars revenues would be hedged there by limiting the gains:losses to rate increase/ decrease

NO, It is not worth it at all ! Infosys should really fairly pay all these employees! I have had this phase too, and I’m really burnt out now so I just work according to what they pay..
