Trending @Cognizant; Worst Company, toxic CTS

I resigned from cognizant my notice is 90 days. I am trying to get help from leadership to adjust my 30 days earned leaves into notice period they are going to expire end of this year 2024. My notice ends on 15 Jan 2025. I already told my managers please for smoother transition new employer is asking me to join after 30 days. I already served 40 days of notice. Just asking to reduce 90 days even by 1 month and whatever possible. They are strictly going against me saying until replacement is found we can't release you. It has been more than month they have not brought any replacement and I already referred 2 candidates inside CTS which they didn't even took interview. They are just delaying the process and making me wait till end. Doing micromanagement. They are now asking to show medical report for taking sick leave for one day I was not well.

HR too ignoring my mails and messages, Senior leadership people too not responding to messages. They have no empathy with anyone, worst project, worst company, worst management, toxic work culture. They even ask people to work on weekends if need be for client and threaten to escalate those who don't work on weekends.

Same happened with me 😔 in my case my mother was admitted and my father was also not well I have ask for that my HCM told that finding replacement. I ask for 20 days earlier release. They will delay and do all they will not give single day release. Now hopefully I will become client in next month :) . Try to show them same ways 😉

When I see this post I feel proud and happy that I haven’t behaved so silly without granting leave to my team members
In notice and release duration I expect them to spend time to focus on their next move rather rubbing same bush.

Obviously my learning as leader developed by seeing the worse leaders above me

Yes. Cts has always been like that unfortunately. Whenever they want they will force you with the indirect threat of bad performance reviews or direct escalations. But when an employee needs something they will try their best to sabotage everything in the name of company policy/rule.
