Workplaces Should Be Safe, Not Predatory
I've been coming across countless stories of workplace harassment (latest one where one 21 yo intern was asked for some favours by senior manager), where men misuse their power to demand sexual favors. It’s absolutely disgusting.
No amount of POSH training can fix this unless the mindset changes—respect for female colleagues should come from within, not just from policies.
Women need to speak up, not just for themselves but to create awareness and ensure that every woman around them feels safe and supported. Silence enables this culture, but collective voices can bring change.
Let’s build workplaces where women don’t have to fear exploitation—where they can work with dignity, free from harassment.
It is unfortunate and it absolutely exists. We just need to make talking about it easier for women or anybody who is being wronged, because we can't fundamentally change oppressors.
