So apparently, no matter how much you grind, how many fires you put out, or how many 12AM “just one more task” moments you survive none of it actually matters.
What does matter? A shiny little P4 competency badge. Yup. Not your impact, not your results. A badge. We’re out here running marathons and they’re handing out stickers.
And if you do get promoted after all that hustle? Get ready for a 5%–13% raise. Peak comedy. You give them blood, sweat, and Google Sheets and they give you an email with “great job!” and maybe a new title.
Honestly, it’s giving “do the most, get the least” energy. Love that for us.
But sure, let’s keep pretending the system rewards hard work. I’ll go print my badge now.
