Trending @Accenture; Working in VLSI field feeling incompetent

I have 5.5 years of experience in VLSI field but out of that 4 years that I worked for a client I learnt nothing. I did not have any access to documents and it was repetitive work. Last 1.5 years I've been working for two different clients and found their work is also repetitive but a little challenging. Now they expect a lot from 5.5 years of experience but the thing is I don't know anything. I am able to manage say to say work but I get bored and hate it to my core. I hate wali g up every day because of how much I hate my work. Thought of quitting and going for masters but financial responsibilities and age(27) is stopping me. What do I do? I have tried studying but everything I read is surface level knowledge.

I work as an SoC Validation engineer on pre silicon Emulation platforms.
