Japanese folks are friendly. But the work culture is toxic.
I’ve been on site in and out.
I love the place.

If you’re moving permanently, Japan is pretty expensive. Especially on the rent side- Most of the people stay 1.5-2 hr away from office location to save on rent.
Food, Day to day expenses are manageable.
It was just on-site for me, So I didn’t have to worry about stay/food expenses. :)
