Working Hours to Compensation comparison across Software Industry

We all see people ranting about long working hours across the software industry. But people ranting in comments and in posts donot provide the actual statistics.

With this post i want to check how long people are working and for what pay across the industry. This shall help me and you all as well to understand if the company we work for is good, ok, bad or absolutely shit!

As for me, I am paid 13.5 lpa but am made to work 10+ hours a day! (my mind wanders around work for these many hours). As I cannot include all the work hour scenarios, and given I need to get back to work again rn 🥲, i havent put much thought in the poll distribution and tried to keep it in a way that it covers the majority. Anyone who wants to cover a broader distribution, please create a similar poll(would be happy to vote in it)

Also please be mindful while voting as I want to keep this poll limited to people related to software roles only. Because as roles change, factors like comp and working hours as well might differ. I would encourage to create similar poll for other domains if anyone is interested to check for their own domain.
