I was told that the total number of working hours is 10 hours which includes 9 hours of productivity and 1 hour of break. Where can I find the accenture policy for standard number of working hours in India? I tried to find but there were no clear number of hours that was mentioned anywhere.
I only got to know about this bullshit policy when i left.
Since i was clocking 9hrs in myte, I expected by my earned leaves encashment formula to be 30 days × 9 hours = 270 but it was 30×8=240hrs.
I am working in cio. Bad luck that I got into this last year. Earlier in client projects, we used to work 9 hrs. In pip, I was put in pip coz of this n I got to know that its 9+1 =10 hrs.
Raised grievance and succeeded but ACN is a bullshit place to be in. There r no documentations and Every hr has their own policy

People are setting bad examples in Accenture. I know people whose shift hours is 1 pm to 10 pm. But I have seen them sending pings and email at 8 am and also during weekends.
Such people are creating toxic culture and hence management is expecting everyone to extend their shift hours..
Also what I have noticed is in Accenture people who are technically sound and have good client handling are giving less weightage than the chatu employees.
Also, people are supporting their community people and are making others work.
This! I have been noticing this as well. And it happens in client-accenture setting as well where people of a community supporting their fellow members.
It's 9 hours including 1 hr break.. earlier it was 10 but most managers are not communicating the right information and when u check with HR which I had done last year they will say it depends on the project and manager..HR will give diplomatic answers
