Working From Nearby Office
I have been working from nearby general ODC but manager forced me to attend the allocated ODC at my base location. My parent is having some health issue and I need to be around them, due to this I came back. The HR and Manager is not allowing wfh exception and are also not allowing me to work from nearby office. Please guide what shall I do. Can they stop some part of my salary on this ground?
Nothing will happen. Max they will deduct city allowance which is minimal. They are also under pressure that’s why they are forcing you . Sit back at your nearest location

Now they are asking for all days for at least 5 hours. And not allocating the seat at near by office.... How can we manage ? Eventually it will be going to 9 hours.
Atleast for safer side make swipe in and out of Your odc so that 2office will show you as attended
Working hours policy is being pushed slowly and to us HR directly communicated they wont check the particular timings but yes if they receive any communcation from manager regarding the associate then only they get the details and apply the measures. In your case if manager is not helping you at all, so swipe at the nearest till you recieve a stop pay and then communicate directly with the HR itself, one of my friend whose reporting is mumbai but he was swiping on hyderbad only, last last month he received a stop pay mail, and he communicated with HR and explained everything, he did got the salary this month.
