Trending @Capgemini; Working culture

Hi, Capgemini as a company is good, very good for work-life balance, but some people, some seniors!!! Boils my blood. One of my so called “ senior”. Said would help me with a task, when I asked him to check if I had made any error, he had the audacity to tell me he is not free after making me wait for 1 day, i mean its okay! If you can’t help! Its fine. But why to make me wait a whole 24 hours, kept me thinking? And anyone thinking, why I couldn’t do it on my own. I had went to him to get work verified, and he said there might be an update needed!! And then after 24hours, and multiple texts, he says he can’t!

I can relate to this... I had faced a similar situation where my senior specified in front of my manager that "some corrections are expected", obviously he didn't helped me on that matter but I understood the "why" in my case after such multiple encounters.

He just wanted to show the manager that how the team needs him and as a junior how I am "dependent".

That’s my point, I didn’t believe my work was shit, he said it was shit. And did nothing about it.

How can you say CG is good when it has this pathetic project interview culture. Even the projects which do not have client round for that also take interviews like external. Despite work for yoe once project over you will not treat here good. Worked in top mnc's but never saw this culture anywhere.
