Working beyond defined hours!!

I came across this while reading the new policy. This has to be a joke, right? The sheer audacity!

This is client dependent not applicable for everyone.

Yes it is. Not everyone would be asked to work overtime.
BUT the point is not that whether who will need to do work overtime, but that they so easily just included a clause for this. The point is their attitude.

Wtf? I'm giving weekend support already without any extra pay or comp off. Wtf is this new thing. Didn't even get a proper hike. Just by giving chiller, they are expecting to adhere all these bullshit. Will move out from once I get an offer.

What band did you get?

Benefits? 😜, This should certainly make me Ambani. 😭

Tbf, I did get A band when I worked extra and 3-4 times on weekends. But that was actually good team and managers. Mostly the team just suck. πŸ˜‚

In the policy, in the last it's also written that if this policy conflicts with the offer letter issue, this policy will override that offer letter πŸ˜‚

Where are you checking this policy ?

My manager sent this in mail. Idk the actual official path to see this. Must be under HR Policy section or news section on Ultimatix home page itself.

Do they pay for extra Working hours?

Dude they don't even pay for the defined working hours properly. Do you expect they'd pay a dime for those extra hours?

The only time I got a comp off was when I worked on Republic day. They don't even request you to work on weekends, they demand that. Imagine!

This meal and conveyance policy exists for more than 10 years. Nothing new .

But project managers does not approve claims if you don't ask beforehand .. now the days they will simply say go home and work from home as everyone has laptops

I sincerely hope people find better jobs than working here or companies like TCS. They just exploit employees.

You can discuss with project manager and record overtime separately. Later you can use them as comp-off
