Working as QA - Want to move to SDE role in next 1-2 years

Hi all,

I am working as an Automation QA in TCS for last 2.5 years and overall have 4 years+ experience in Automation QA mainly with Selenium and Java.

Honestly speaking I really want to move from a service based company to a product based company.

How do I do it? Is it gonna be hard?

Will I have to lie in my resume that I am already working as a Java developer in an organisation?

Will I have to change my whole resume from QA to DEV?

I dont want to move into SDET role because really don’t want to move to Testing roles anymore not that I am bad at it or neither I dont hate it.

Suggest me my next steps. Please dont judge me for this but I really want it to happen.
