Trending @Accenture; Work Rant: <project pressure, unable to sleep at night>

I am a Ase and being assigned to a project which I don’t even understand even being 6 months, no one gives kT, no one explains anything, everyone as busy. My manager gives me work and expects me to do the work, which something i am unknown and entirely new to. When I fail to do he yells and shouts ,mocks saying what are you doing it’s almost 3 months and comments on personal issues. He is saying he will escalate further if I fail to perform the work which no one has given me kt or topics I know. what should I do???!! He just left us out and expects us to learn everything. If I ask my teammates they are busy in there work. What should I do? There is a lot of mental pressure a feeling I can't achieve or reach there expections are anyone facing the same issue?

Play it politically. They ask you to perform. Have everything on the email. Ask for documentation on mail. Ask for kt on mail. Any problem, have it on mail. Once he escalates to HR, mention you cannot perform your duties if any documentation or kt is not given. They usually have to mention what topics they have taught you in the KT on mail and then you have to inform if you have accepted that or not on mail. In this way he knows he is fked if he escalates, you can escalate to HR then to HRs manager, then to ethics department if both of them are not useful. Use professional language in your emails

If he is telling in teams call use snipping tool video record option and record it. Enable Captions / subtitles in yeams. Also record in phone. Here you have proof that when he behaved in professionally.

Remember you should not be in presentation mode

Having similar experience in early phase of my career, I can advise you to talk to the Senior Manager or DU Lead of the project. Speak upfront about the KT not completed and other issues you are facing. As an ASE you should have support from senior resources as you are in your learning phase. Your manager should not expect you to own things and solve them without any support. If he / she is still doing then raise grievance with HR. I am Manager myself and I can assure you that you can call out for support as this is your right.

Gone through same shit about 2-3 months ago expecting us to be available on weekends pushing time everyday making us do work for more than 12 hrs all the manager did was get updates and report back the same. Mocked us for not knowing something completely new we have never worked on. These Migration projects are such a pain. Right now in the final leg deploying in PROD migrating users to azure literally made me question my self worth thought of resigning and joining as a school teacher made me believe IT is not for me. How it changed was being upfront and telling him I DONNO THIS SHIT I WANT RELEASE definitely I did not get the release after 2 months of joining the project. That made all the change they pulled in Another resource and got me the help I needed. So communication is the KEY. Don’t be afraid to tell I donno and I need help

He has no right to shout or mock you. Raise a HR complain. Shoot an email to the Leadership on top of his hierarchy.SPEAK UP.
